Wine

I am taking an introductory class on wine for a few weeks. I thought I could share what I am learning and also help me gather the relevant information for my personal later use. As a disclaimer, I am  newbie, I am just taking this class for personal interest. I think I even prefer drinking beer but I just wanted to know how to drink and appreciate wine and maybe, once you know how to appreciate it, I’ll enjoy drinking it more.

The course is divided in several classes each of them covering wines from different part of the world.

The study and reading follow this patter:

• For each country, we learn its wine classification.
• Then we learn about the different regions where wine is made.
• For each region, we learn the geographical specifics and the grape variatals used.

That’s pretty much how we are getting our overview of wine.
